 | This is what the weather around here has felt like these past few days -- over 100F (38C). At least it's not hitting the 112F (45C) mark that it did during our first summer here, when we had 18 extra people camping in our house and back yard (including the Maynard family). |

Wishing you a great Canada Day. I think I'll remember the day by watching some old Red Green show reruns :-).
Gee, that video seems a little over the top for a Canadian.

it was a beer commercial originally, but it sparked more patriotism in Canadians than anything previous (except for hockey). That is was for a beer ad may be appropriate, or alarming, depending on your point of view. :)

Deacon: Yeah, but isn't it just like traditional detox - until the church leaders admit they have a problem?
Usher: That's easy, we'll just stage an "intervention" and extract the errant pastors from the "church that man built" and put 'em through detox!
