Despair.com
Somebody in the comments posted a link to the quote that Jo had at the dinner table the other night -- "there is no such thing as a stupid question, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots" -- and I'm not surprised at all to discover that the nice folks at www.Despair.com either thought of it first, or at least put a great image to go with the quote.

John Wimber was often quoted as saying, "Never trust a leader without a limp." I qualify, and at times, I have half-jokingly wondered if my all-time favourite -- "Mistakes" -- might actually be prophetic.![]() Fortunately, I believe that God has better plans for me than living this one out! |

there sure are days of broken humility that make it seem that way...
i suppose...i can be a sign and a wonder...
a sign to NOT do it "this" way or "that"...and a WONDER at why God loves me so much even in the mistake mess....
thankfully He does...loves us all alot.
That last one reminds me of our choice in the matter from another quote I heard...
"If you can't be a good example, you'll have to be a horrible warning?"
I think in my life, I've been both...
:-)
i've just stumbled onto your blog...I already like the spirit of your discourse. look forward to further interaction as time passes.
