Side-swiped... again
| It was just about nine months ago when I used the picture at right as a graphical representation of how it felt to be fired from a Christian organization. I didn't go into details at that time, and I don't intend to at this point, either. If there's one thing I've learned through various ugly church politics situations, it's that God receives no glory when dirty laundry is aired. | ![]() |
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)But I would like to request prayer for Wendy and I. We've been receiving emails from my former boss quite often since being fired last March, and the guy just won't leave us alone.
We've tried ignoring and not replying to his emails, but that doesn't work. We tried responding and saying (repeatedly) "please stop emailing us", but that didn't work either. He left us alone for a couple of months, but started it up again last night, on the pretense of wanting to wish me a happy birthday.
Frankly, it feels like spiritual warfare whenever he contacts us. Would you please pray for Wendy and I that (A) this guy would leave us alone, and (B) that we would be able to stand firm against the spiritual warfare that his emails seem to bring with them.
I know that we've benefited greatly at other times from the prayers of our online friends, and we'd appreciate your intercession on our behalf once again.
